I kind of dig these cars. I know they were just rebadged Mitsubishis, and didn't bare much resemblance to the "real" Challengers from earlier in the decade. But I have had a crazy idea about how cool it could be to take one of these and transplant a modern Challenger's Hemi running gear into one of this vintage. Freshen up the exterior a bit, (get rid of those government mandated bumpers!) maybe put the new Challenger interior in it, install the donor car's wheels, stuff like that. I know it would be crazy, but it would definitely be different. It would likely be the only one like it. It would certainly be more of a "proper" Challenger then.

It didn't end early, it ended at $1691.00 not meeting reserve. I was just watching a WWII movie and they were bombing the Mistubishi plant.:) The only Challenger that car has in it is if a real Challenger was scrapped and some of the steel was used to build it. I think it would be much better to put a WWII Japanese Zero engine in it so it could be more of a "proper" Mitsubishi. :D

The "Challenger" emblems are the same as on the '70 - '74 AND the new metric Challengers.
