    Hi everyone!
My name is Michael and I am a big fan of classic station wagons. The first large car that really turned me into these cars was a 1965 Chevy Impala Station Wagon. Even though I don't own one, I still have an experience of working on these cars at a shop.
I currently work at CARiD as a product consultant and often have a direct access to many restoration parts. I will post more on the forum after I look around here.

    Hey Michael,
I've bought from CARID Before for my Mustangs. You should talk to the powers that be about reproducing Gas Tanks for Wagons especially Full sized 60's Fords (totally self serving) LOL . I know it's tough to support the wagons because the numbers aren't there. WELCOME TO THE SITE.

Thanks) We actually work with a couple of good suppliers that reproduce parts. What model are you looking the tank for?

    Hey Thanks for the reply,
My car is A 1968 Ford Country Squire............. I believe 65-68 Ford Full size wagon were all the same. If you could find anything out I would appreciate it.I've partnered with people to have early Mustang Parts reproduced.I'd love to see something happen for Ford wagons. I could provide a decent original for them to copy. I know it's A long shot ,but hey you never know....

Great idea 66HPGT. I remember having a heck of a time about ten years ago trying to find a gas tank for my '75 CE (clamshell). I ultimately found one, but it was not easy. Fuel sending units were also a bit difficult for that car too at the time.

    Welcome Michael! :Welcome:
