I won a photo contest this evening.....

    With photos of of wagons!! Against some stiff competition the B/W of the 57 Chevy won first place. The color photo of the Pontiac got into the show also but didn't win. Even the folks there that were not normally "car" people enjoyed them. This was the first time I had ever entered a photo contest.

    Was it a grunge show or 'hidden treasures' show? :thumbs2: Good pics, just the same. Not easy to take. :bowdown:

    It was a open theme show,I was competing with portraits,landscapes,abstracts. There was some really good stuff there,I won a $100.00 prize for first place.

    The wagons are located at Vic's classic car parts in Chesnee SC here's the # 1-864-461-9071. Both cars will only really be good for parts though. This guy has quite a few good cars in there. 2000+. He has a really good selection of 70's and 80's wagons. No Clamshells though.

    Funny you should mention that,I was going to originally do the Pontiac in B/W . When I had in in B/W though it didn't work well. In color the contrast between the rust and green paint along with that taillight lense made to picture stand out more. All I really used was the editing feature on my Kodak Easyshare Camera.
