Once again proving the saying, "just 'cause you can, doesn't mean you should'.

I think the seller would have been better off with a nice, clean '73 Mazda pickup with the original rotary engine in it, and with the '70 Oldsmobile Toronado from which the 455 came from. Those two cars together would have been worth more than this one car.

But nice to know the seller kept the battery under the hood. Where it belongs. :D

Wonder what the weight distribution of this truck is?

The truck is a blast to drive and actually gets good gas mileage:biglaugh:

Yea right! But where will I haul my mulch and lumber?

Battery and gas tank under the hood?

Definitely would be a head turner. Especially if it spews flames from those headers.

I have also seen it done with a Corvair Ramp Side PU and a Pontiac V-8. But I agree Why?

Why the hell not??? I dig that Mazda. The Ranger looks like fun, too. Both would be fun trucks to drive to work. Just to be obnoxious!!!

I'd chose the Ranger. Nicer set up and why not?
I suppose I could haul mulch and gravel under the hood.
