Epay is pushing the price of wagons out of sight, 72King. They are considerably higher now than just 6 months ago. And I thought they were high THEN. Epay sellers see a really nice car go for 10K. They put their mediocre car on and the dumbass bidders go to the same money or even more. Epay is a seller's paradise. But...I sure would like to be a fly on the fender when the buyer shows up to take possession of this junker. Especially after hitting the BIN button for 5K!! Sure hope he didn't send the money and is having it delivered.

KK...you're right and under the chrome strip in several places. Not be sterotypical but...I have to say...the guy in one of the pix in the new listing (hope it's no one here!) just LOOKS like a crook to me! :yup:
He's looking over his work from the 20 footer position.

This guy must be good with a camera and photoshop. I don't like to buy sight unseen and will make them take it back if it's not as described. My 60 Bel-Air's frame was almost gone when I bought it, and he had told me that there was just rust in the floorboards.

Thanks, Stef...that, too, is a great comparison. What makes me the saddest is...what if somone buys this wagon that is not a car guy and doesn't discover the fraud. A few months down the road he will begin to realize that his money is gone and the car is going. Fast. I hate crooks.

I think thats the same pattern wood grain I used on my '77 Country Squire. It was shelf paper from Menards....$6.00 a roll. Being in college at the time, I could not afford more.

Too bad I didnt hang onto mine longer. I had it on ebay and the bid went to like $700 and the reserve was $750. Whats funny is that I ended up trading it to a old man for a 1989 BMW 325iS (that I had no interest in, but knew I could sell it). I ended up selling the BMW for $1800, bought a 1984 Mercedes 190D with that $1800, then sold it for $3300, so I guess I did well! :)

Then I took that money and paid $2500 for my '88 Mercedes S-Class, then the rest went to parts for my 72 and the labor to that moron that did the engine work on my '72 Kingswood Estate- that I still cant drive. :(

That's because, as I'm sure you know, it has MORE than 34K miles, Jase. IIRC, it had that many miles nine years ago when they stopped recording the miles. I mean, just because there are no records from years ago...does that mean the car hasn't been driven since then?? DUH...some people are simply crooks and others are simply gullible. Everything about this car is a lie. The seller reminds me of the Red Roach seller. Do ANYTHING to sell the car at a large profit. If the buyer of this car has half a brain and looks it over before coughing up the cash...look for 'ol Rust Bucket to be back on Epay. Again.

Man, you've got one hell of a hard on for this seller! :yahoo:

People get screwed all the time on eBay, it's an auction!

The used car salesman's creed: There's a sucker born every minute!

    Clark :rofl2:

Yup...I do, Clark. And all others like him. I will bash any crook in the car business I find. All they do is steal unsuspecting peoples hard earned money. They may as well just use a gun and rob you on the street. And...BTW...everything about this car IS a lie and not ALL used car people use that creed.
