    Hi,
I'm farmersjoy this was my old CB handle which certainly dates me. This is the first time I have posted a message on the internet. I've driven Ford station wagons for the last 25 years. I have a 1991 Ford LTD wagon which I bought on ebay and picked up in Michigan. It leaks oil and I've spent lots of money trying to fix it. I need to location another one. I used my wagons to take girls to volleyball games, camping, vacations and now I want to travel with my grandchildren in a station wagon. I hope this post is not too long and it's ok to buy and sell on the forum.

You're doing fine, and, yes, you can certainly buy and sell on here. One of the most active sources of discussion is wagons for sale found on craigslist and so forth. We're all critics!

    Interesting. Any particular girls? :)

Welcome to the Station Wagon Forums, Farmersjoy!

You've got your first post done, so that's a good start.

I'd suggest you go through the various sections we have here, click on some threads that might interest you, and get to know 'the room'. We've got a distinct personality here - very friendly, but we're not afraid to get into a good discussion among friends.

Wa also tend to get off-track of the main discussion. We're pretty much all guilty of that at one time or another, myself particularly included.

There's lots of knowledge here, so don't be afraid to ask ANYTHING.

If you need some guidance about how do stuff like post pictures, etc, or anything related to the mechanics of the forum itself, go to the section, 'Site News, Feedback, Suggestions & Help'.

As to your current situation, post up a bit more detail on what you're looking for, as well as your location, so we can zoom in on something that meets your requirements....

    Glad to have 'ya...

    Welcome

Welcome to the forum.:Welcome: Nice introduction.
One of my gripes are new members just trying to buy or sell and not introducing themselves. You did good for an old guy..... or gal. Hard to tell from the words.:49:
My CB handle was MODEL T. But I started very very young so that part means nothing about age. As for members getting off topic, I rarely do that. I am here as a serious station wagon lover only. ;)
As for leaking oil, that's normal for old Fords and Harleys. Just buy a few cases of it and enjoy the drive. That means the old Ford is getting lubricated.

    This is my second post.

The girls were my two daughters. I now have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Why the question?

    It was a joke.

Go back and read the sentence you wrote. You didn't say they were my daughters. You didn't even say they were daughters. You just said you used your wagon to "take girls" to various places. The sentence has an entirely different meaning in the absence of that word.

What immediately came to my mind was the Elvis Presley movie and you driving around in your party barge finding girls on the beach and having fun!

My apologies to everyone I will try to be more accurate and grammatically correct with my postings.
If however, I do something wrong please bring it to my attention. I’ve heard some alarming things about forums.

Since my husband passed away five years, I just wanted to get some help with finding another station wagon to buy and maybe get some suggestions regarding my leaky engine.

I have received several warm greetings of welcome.
