Sells for $42,900.00 http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/...country-squire-sells-for-42900-in-california/
Crazy.............what was that buyer thinking.........and can I get his name, address and phone number?
Boy, that green over green is a love/hate relationship. I'd be more for it if it had the dark green paint and interior, like the '77 Granada 2-door I had.
It was fun reading all of the comments about this wagon. To most of is there would be no point in buying it. It's already no longer a one owner and if we drove it it would no longer be a near mint low mileage wagon. About all it's good for is a museum piece or garage art.
for about half that price you get my '76 Estate Wagon plus 16' boat and trailer all of course done on the car and no need to worry about putting miles on it
The selling price is fees included, so the auction price is about 10% less, but I agree very high price, and if you drove it would reduce the value of the car by my estimate at about $1 per 1 mile. Just my own estimate, not based on any real information.
That was SAE net, and the engine only had a 2-barrel carb and a camshaft geared toward lowering emissions.
