Looking at purchasing a Willys Wagon to restore... I have done a '52 Willys M38 Jeep and found that forums such as this are a wealth of information and support... :2_thumbs_up_-_anima Hope to post more questions and some answers as time goes on...
Will after I get it, I found one here in OK and am looking at a purchase... Needs full restoral... Pics to follow in the next few weeks...
My next 4 year project, maybe 5 or 6... Who knows... For those of you into "Old" cars I just purchased a 1951 Willys Station Wagon to restore... It is 95% complete and only major component missing is the radiator... :2_thumbs_up_-_anima I pick it up next weekend... Already doing research on manuals and parts dealers... Thanks for looking...
Welcome... reminds me of my M38 A1 (assembled by and also known as NEKAF which stands for NEtherlands KAiser Fabric) from Royal Netherlands Army I had 15 years ago:
I also belong to the G503.com website and the WillysMJeeps.com website... I have spent the last 4 years restoring this M-38CDN (Canadian) and a year doing the M-100 Trailer... I had a ball doing this and the looks when this jeep rolls down the street under its own power is great, especially from old timers... Enjoy...
I luv those things....always wanted to take one and hammer it to the ground I think they would look wild dragging rocker congrats and welcome
No, the Willys Wagon will go Original, I bought it this weekend ($40) Ernest money and pay the remainder on Sunday when I pick it up... It used to be used as a TV - Radio repair truck, you can still see some of the markings on the sides, be nice to trace it back and maybe redo it as that; as I work in electronics/radio (Cellular Tech, I maintain the cell sites) also an Amateur Radio Operator...
Hehe, reminds me of Jeepneys I encountered in Manila. Welcome to the station wagon forum. Now that would be a challenging project
