I imagine this may be long gone. The ad is over a month old... from the looks of the snow in this area which is probably gone by first of March, it is probably older than that (at least the pics where).

Anyway, a '74 Impala, 36k actual miles only $450.00. It is wrecked, but still the engine alone should be worth double that? Tons of parts it looks like, as well as an excellent interior. What a shame... I wonder if the car could be saved?

    Anyway here it is...

Looks like the frame is kinked, for starters. Second, you would not want to use any seatbelts that were in use when that happened. Third I would be leery of the front seat. That is a lot of force that the seat and it's mounts absorbed. Bet something is bent or weakened. It is too bad, but fixing this is going to be a whole lot of work.

Nothing overly special about a '74 350. It should have large open chamber heads, low-ish compression ratio, and a cast iron intake. Block is likely a 2 bolt main.

Yeah Mike, nobody's going to be rebuilding this one......

You will find a HUGE kink in the left frame rail between the left front control arm area and the cowl. The left rail will also be bent upwards. The entire front section of the frame is swayed to the left, including the right rail. Major frame damage.
