    hello every1 . i want to start by saying i justbought a 57 chevy wagon not the nomad but its a 2 door. . its kind of a project but i think my son and i can pull it off but we need lots of help from other members . we are learning all this as we go . my son is 9 yold. we sure like our new old car and want to do it right

    Welcome milkman. What a great thing to do. My son and I started working together on our 1955 Chevy wagon when he was only 1 1/2 years old. Believe me he was a big help with little things. Now he replaces engines, transmissions, wiring, and everything needed to keep our old junk running.
    Nothing better than a family project. Enjoy the forum and look around at other projects. Possibly any questions will be answered already. If not just ask. At the most we'll give you 100 different answers. Some may be correct.

    Nice looking Nomad!------------- Or 2-door 150 handyman wagon. HA!

    Did you shave all the side trim, or is it going back on? It's hard to tell in the pic.
    Your son seems to be enjoying himself...I'm sure he's learning a lot helping you with the project.
    How far along are you as far as assembly? It does look like it's been freshly painted.
