had a day off in the sun and had some fun.......Hope Deb won't kill me when she gets home, I sent her a email at her work with pics of my new to me 2006! Been written off totaled and condemned 3 times but has passed safety inspection every rebuild, 900k miles, burns oil big time, needs trans (no reverse) and the brakes are shot, power sun roof is stuck up open but summer will be here in a few months so no big deal, pulls like a b@stard to the left and vibrates like crazy on the front end at highway speed. But for $8k how could I refuse???

    DISCLAIMER ..............

NO, it's not my wagon and NO it's not junk!:biglaugh::rofl2:. Tenant's friend was over and it's her car. I was cleaning my work van when she pulled in and was "Oh I like your station wagons". It is a 2006 and a V6 Auto but what a nice car! I guess I do live a sheltered life as today was the first time EVER I have been up close to one of these wagons:oops:. ..... I never knew the rear lift gate was part of the roof for one thing. Real nice lady, had a good 'are not wagons the greatest thing" chat and she even let me take the magnum for a drive. I only did a short trip around the block a couple time and it's not my car so I didn't 'punch it' to test the V6 performance but I will say it was a fun drive!

BUT, I did finally insure both the Buick and the Olds today and took the Dogs for a drive in each....... the insurance expired Dec 10 of last year, I just never got around to renew them both (been working 6 days a week, I just come home to walk the dogs it seems).... so in a way it was a expensive day none the less.:slap::rofl2:

Looking a little snug with the headroom Tedy, but those are fun looking wagons. If I ever get a buyer for the Colony Park, I'll make sure to do the license plate photos (I've located them) before it leaves my possession.

    Model T didn't get a Magnum.

Since I was a trucker I'll start out "you ain't gonna believe this"....... A few weeks back while waiting for my son in our local NAPA I looked at that exact Magnum in the empty gas station where I park and many do to go into NAPA.
Being in the middle of town on the main drag lots of people sell cars and flea market junk there.
The Magnum was sitting there with several for sale signs. I was actually interested. But I do not like silver, grey, or white. Plus there was no price on it. Why do people put phone numbers and other crap on the sign but not a price?
Maybe your new tennent's friend bought that one and drove home. ;)
If that one would have been bright red I may have called. I've always liked the looks but that was the closest I'd ever been to one.

Boy, you had me goin' there...
I was reading, "totaled three times", "900k miles", "burns oil" "no reverse" (now I'm hoping it was given to you free), "shot brakes", "sunroof stuck open", and "I paid $8k..." Almost had a heart attack Tedy

    DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!!!

Loved my Magnum. It was a great, reliable vehicle. It was an R/T with the 5.7L HEMI.

Still lovin' mine. One pic from the day I brought it home new. Eventually it had to move over and make some room for a somewhat senior garage mate.
