That's a Ghia and likely has the V-6. Go for it. Drive it, until the tranny blows. Thereafter, you can do what you want. If you toss the six in place of the four, the Pinto tranny won't fit, without extensive modifications. Still, those Capris handle pretty well
That's a nice one. It's a V6 since it has the black paint surrounding the tail lights/tag and the twin pipes. Don't think there was a "Ghia" trim on these, they were all spec'd the same as near as i can remember other than the engine/trans options. I had a red '74 with the 2800 Cologne V6 and 4 speed with a steel sunroof. Black interior. They were trimmed out really nice in standard form. Drove it through college and after a couple years, great car.
