'91 Caprice Wagon 502BBC Needs Work

Too bad engine doesn't run, would make for a very fun wagon! Looks like spare tire well may be rusted out from picture, leading me to assume may have rust issues underneath. Wonder what interior looks like?

Price seems kind of optimistic given that it doesn't run and the body is in less than spectacular condition.

 

I agree, the selling point to make it worth that doesn't run. IMO

 

I wonder how a 502 with a big cam would do on emmisions, if and when it runs?

The main selling feature is of course, the big block. All he says is "It will turn over but won't start." Why not? Seems to me either he knows it is broken beyond repair and isn't saying, or he's a complete idiot. Ad kinda sounds like he's young, so maybe it's the latter...... Or, it could be both.

I'd start at about $1k and go from there. I thorough inspection may yield some important information.
