    2014 Fall Carlisle wagons

I realized I posted links to my pictures from Fall Hershey, and the Rockville Maryland show, but neglected to post links to the photo albums from 2014 Fall Carlisle two weeks ago. I guess I got a bit busy as a buddy who went with me bought a nice little survivor 1971 Mercury Comet at Fall Carlisle and we had to sort out a few minor issues on the car after he got it home. That occupied several evenings that first week after Carlisle and I forgot about getting pictures to you guys.

Here are links for the pictures I took. One album is pictures from the cars in the auction. The other album is pictures of cars for sale in the car corral and in the vendor area. I'll include a few of the wagon pictures below, but check out the links to see all the pictures.

And heres the little survivor 71 Comet with a 302 that my buddy bought while we were there. My friend had never been to Carlisle before and decided to go for the full Carlisle experience his first time out by buying a car. Car turned out to be very solid with no rust. It has original paint and even had its original window sticker. Not a bad choice for a first classic car for a young guy on a budget. They were asking $4900.00, he got it for $3800.00, and we fixed a tail light, replaced the horn, rebuilt the carb and its doing great and gets lots of attention.

Fantastic pics, thanks for posting! Was last there for Spring Carlisle in 2013, and I miss it a LOT.

Thanks Teddy. Just last night I noticed one of the links to pictures from Hershey was wrong and I corrected it on that thread. If you get a chance, go back and check out the other link on the 2014 Hershey thread if you want to see more pics from that show.

Really like the 60. The maroon 66 looks like it is standing a bit high (like there was no engine in it) maybe it is camera angle.

The 66 did sit high all the way around. Guess the owner set it up that way for some reason. It had a newer 302 under the hood.

The 60 was pretty cool, but the price must have been a bit high as it didn't sell at Spring Carlisle, so it was back for Fall Carlisle.

Teddy picked out a Chevy pickup as the one he would have most liked to buy, but I was guessing this Cougar would have been the one that caught his eye.
