Hello to everyone in the forum! Arriving from, Buena Park, CA (Orange County). Was steered your website from 59wood on Beachcitywagonmasters.com. There is a lot of activity on your website! Glad to see that wagons are strong and well! I do not have a wagon right now but sometime in the future still deciding on the year & model. Wagon groups are a growing number. Not just here in the US but everywhere according to what I hear. I learned to drive in my mom's '68 Chevy Kingswood. That was in 1978. The car had belonged to an elderly guy that went blind and couldn't drive it. My mom bought the car in 1978 with only 8,000 Miles on it! Car was cherry and it was so very fast! Just wonder if it is still running. Anyway...just glad to have found your forum!! Meanwhile, Here's a couple of wagon illustrations for you. Longroofs live!! - DV :2_thumbs_up_-_anima
Thanks Stefan. The Surf wagon is a custom mock up of my friend Aspi's '62 Olds Fiesta. He had been looking for that year and model for two years! Finally found it on Ebay last year. It is pretty good condition. It had bounced all over the States before returning back to Calif. I am attaching the Photo I used for the illustration..
Naw! I am checking out more wagon sites! Can't have too many. Iknow the Longroofs and I am a part of Beachcitywagonmasters.com My illustrations are featured there. Right now I am going to start an illustration of 59wood's yellow 59 Parkwood this weekend. No I would never abandon my buds on that site! Making new friends!! - DV
