    I've always liked these amazing wagons. Unbelievable what happend at that auction. Also shows that some people with money also have a heart.

    Pretty much anyone involved in old cars should know those wagons are worth over $50,000 in rough condition. With good chrome and stainless $100,000+ is not out of line for a driver. That's why many of us can't afford to own one or fix it up if we got it free.

    Naw, snoot, not at all! To see how Joe reacted to getting the car AND it going to a good home is good enough for me. I don't jave any regrets. However, now if Joe gets a nice 58 MERC wagon for free and he calls me up and says to take it, well, let's just say he won't have to twist my arm!

    BTW, I'm not much of a GM guy anyway, even though they're sharp rides....
