Hi Keith! Welcome to the club! The Mercury Zephyr was a good looking car, especially the wood grain wagon. If your wood grain is not trashed, but just dull, after you wash it, just maybe try a good vinyl treatment.

I had an aunt and uncle who lived in Spruce Pine for years, they loved it. They're gone now.

:Welcome:Keith. You'll have more luck making station wagon friends than finding new vinyl. Then again some of us are not very friendly!
    Welcome and enjoy your wagon.

    Welcome, Keith.

I'm glad you're considering restoring / replacing the Di-Noc woodgrain rather than just completely peeling it off.

We have an entire 'Woodgrain' subsection of the forum, under the 'Cosmetics and Restoration' section. Check it out.

There are quite a few forum members who own and specialize in the Fox-body wagons. They will make themselves known shortly. In the meantime, do a little searching, strolling around our community, and don't be shy about posting some.....

    Great to have you here!

Welcome to the forum, Keith, and congrats on the Zephyr. Looks to be in pretty good shape. I really can't tell from the picture, but that dinoc, (the woodgrain on the side), looks like it might be salvageable. Like KK says, check out the cosmetics and restoration section; there's tons of good ideas in there for the wood. It might be as easy as putting on a liberal application of Lemon Pledge. Admittedly, that's the best case scenario, but certainly worth a shot.

Got it home today. The wood grain decal is cracked bad so I will have to replace it and the front doors are rusty on the bottom. So I am on the look out for doors. But the interior is great.Check out the dash!

Welcome to the forum. I can see you Fox body collection from your pictures. From what I have read and seen most everything can be switched from the Mustang to the wagon. They are good light weight wagons so they should get up and go.
