I like taking my Roady to the local cruise nights and little benefit car shows even though it is no where near a show vehicle but the kids love the rear facing seat and it becomes a kid favorite when I tell them "climb in and try it out" with all the look but don't touch show cars and believe me I understand but small children don't and to be able to climb in one out there makes their day...and mine!

My wife occasionally calls my wagon a hearse, and yes I find that annoying. I have gotten hearse questions when I work at the elementary school but I find that cute and take the opportunity to shape there young minds.

Until it landed, I beat you thought you were in a hearse.

If it meant being with Libby Joyce (nicknamed 'Choice Joyce,' BTW) then I die with more than a smile on my face, hearse or not.

The day we got Fannie home one of my neighbours came over(well actually several neighbours came over) but this particular neighbour asked why did we buy a hearse? I thought maybe she was joking but she wasn't, she thought we bought a hearse...:disagree: silly neighbour.

I really don't care what people call our wagon. I just love that they look at it.
My brother's wife...sister-in-law, a German, always called it a hearse. But I think she mostly was teasing me.
Funny, some younger people think it's some late model SUV.
And our wagon was never meant to be a show car. When our youngest was very little he often sat in the driver seat at shows and cruises. He was still not quite five when we retired. So we've always let kids sit in it and drive it or pose while mommys took pictures.

When we had the 71 Town and Country we just called her "The Barge". Seemed appropriate. Didn't appreciate her all that much when we had her but would welcome her back today.

I hate it when people call my car a ghost buster car... The first picture is my 1962 Chevrolet ambulance by Cotner Bevington, and the second picture is of a car that I considered buying.. a 1962 Pontiac Hearse, that was built at the same time that my Chevrolet was being built. From the data plate information, they must have been side by side in the factory, since they are 1 car apart on the job number.

No, luckily Libby didn't turn out that way. One kid, already an adult and a Marine, and she's still married to her original husband. But I'm reasonably sure the wagon's long gone.

We had Rednecks in Kitsap County, but they actually had some grey matter. And though there were some guys and gals that were, shall we say, loosely-moraled, the majority of them have come up in the world. I had my 30th reunion last Summer, and was surprised at some of the people I went to high school with.

That 62 looks like a hearse converted to a ambulance. Here is a pic of real ambulance. ;).
