    I noticed them too. Seems like the Square/rectangle headlights were a mildly popular customization back then. I remember seeing them on all manner of vehicles (usually they do not "fit" the overall appearance of the rest of the vehicle) An attempt to add a "Modern touch" I suppose.

    yeah, a pretty standard lowrider custom trend in late 70s early 80s. looks horrible now. wait till you see it on a 64 impala. lol.
