I knew that in Canada the Pontiac dealers sold a version of the Geo Metro or Suzuki Swift as the Firefly (my wife a big fan of the Sci Fi show Firefly) always thought it would be "neat" to own one. Chills always went down mine spine when she said that. Horrible thoughts of import Duty, possible bribes to US Customs officials. Problems with getting a title for a Gray Market car. Not to mention working on a used Suzuki Swift!!!!! Parts Problems. Being the Butt of Jokes when I parked it in the show field at the Big Pontiac Show in August. (Ok I would actually enjoy that, ALOT!!!!!)
I never knew they made a Turbo Version of the car. And my Wife just E-mailed me the link and said "to bad it has a manual trans" Dodged a big bullet there!!!!
I would be tempted at $500 to $700 but not at $3129.99 for a car with 181,000 kilometers on it.

Didn't the Aveo/Sonic also get the Firefly name in Canada?

Rock Auto still sells a lot of parts for this car. If I was looking for a gas sipper (opposite of a wagon) I would think about this one!

I used to see plenty of these 1 liter turbos in the 90s. They also had a non turbo convertible.

    Firefly was always a re-badged Suzuki Forsa/Swift.

I remember the first (and only) time I saw a "Pontiac" Firefly. It was all black and in very nice shape. I figured someone had done a one-off customization on a Suzuki Swift or Geo Metro.
