I found this wagon locally ( well 150 miles from me ) and am wondering if the pricing is good , bad, etc. Now I know it says it needs motor work and depending on what that is could have a significant impact on pricing so for now lets assume the motor is good. If anyone is after a Wagon like this feel free to pursue it.

Based on what the ad says, seems like the seller thinks he's offering it at a bargain price. 'requires motor work' could mean anything from a carb overhaul to a complete engine rebuild. Talk to the seller any maybe get a few more pics (underside?), but if you're really interested, this might be one you have to go look-see. At least get more details on what's wrong with the engine.

With a GOOD drivetrain, this could be a $10k wagon.

I have a feeling the motor work needed is significant or he'd be disclosing what it was.

I'd go look and if it ran decent, looks as good as it seems, at least starts and idles without excessive noise, offer $5000 without this wheels/tires. Unless you like those.
Looks like it's had some engine detailing. Maybe has had work and just needs a good tune up. Or three rods are ready to come through the pan!
On the other hand it looks darned nice and an engine rebuild is not too expensive.
