I found this wagon locally ( well 150 miles from me ) and am wondering if the pricing is good , bad, etc. Now I know it says it needs motor work and depending on what that is could have a significant impact on pricing so for now lets assume the motor is good. If anyone is after a Wagon like this feel free to pursue it. http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=592862887
Based on what the ad says, seems like the seller thinks he's offering it at a bargain price. 'requires motor work' could mean anything from a carb overhaul to a complete engine rebuild. Talk to the seller any maybe get a few more pics (underside?), but if you're really interested, this might be one you have to go look-see. At least get more details on what's wrong with the engine. With a GOOD drivetrain, this could be a $10k wagon.
I'd go look and if it ran decent, looks as good as it seems, at least starts and idles without excessive noise, offer $5000 without this wheels/tires. Unless you like those. Looks like it's had some engine detailing. Maybe has had work and just needs a good tune up. Or three rods are ready to come through the pan! On the other hand it looks darned nice and an engine rebuild is not too expensive.
