My interest in station wagons stems back from growing up with them. We had a 1969 or 1970 Chevrolet Wagon and a 1971 Plymouth Wagon when I was young. Later my dad bought a small Plymouth Reliant wagon. In my teenage years my parents bought a late 80's Chevrolet Wagon. I currently do not own a wagon but I think it is something I would like to have. Reconnecting to my past. I currently own a 1959 Plymouth Savoy 4dr project. I am loosing interest in the car because of the hassle of applying for a lost title in the state of NC. I would love to have a 1971 Plymouth wagon like we had when I was a kid. Thanks for letting me join this forum. Brian
Welcome Brian. I always heard it was easy to get titles in the south. Things have changed a lot but still there should be hope. Go for the wagon project. You'll love it when you get started.
Brian! I'll echo Cat's advice to go for the wagon project. They ARE a lot of fun. My parents also bought an '80's Chevy wagon when I was a teen...learned how to drive in my dad's '83 Caprice Estate...and my grandma taught me how to drive a stick in her '83 Cavalier wagon. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima Good luck in your decision-making and keep us posted!
Thanks you all. I'll tell you one thing. I will never buy another car without a title. It has been nothing but trouble. I thought I was good to go and now I have gotten a letter from the NCDMV and it looks like I am going to be shelling out more money.
