My Name is Tom,I live in Byers Co. (it's about 45 miles east of Denver). Married, retired from the USPS. I've been tinkering with cars for over 50 years. Currently working on a 67 Dodge wagon, complete but has a lot of small stuff wrong with it. That is to be expected with a car of that vintage. There are 6 other toys in my collection, 30 Ford coupe, 56 T-Bird, 66 Mercury S-55, 70 Firebird Formula 400, 74 Trans/Am, and a 66 Cessna 150F.
to SWF Tom, nice to meet you. So what have you been tinker if? Sounds like you have a great section of vehicles. Don't be shy about posting pics of all your cars we have a section for that... http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=35 hope you enjoy the site...we do.
Welcome to the SWF, Tom. Quite a selection of nice rides you have there... As to the Dodge, you don't indicate what model Dodge it is. I'll guess a Polara.......here's one from our archives: I'm intrigued by the S-55 and the Cessna....... Marshall
Welcome. Nw that you are finished herding the big brown truck start ordering parts and let them come to your house. As mentioned, we love pictures. of wagons, old cars, and even areoplanes.
Nice junk. The wagon looks like a great project but I like this Model A coupe. I see it has the stock small block Ford engine in it just like Henry planned.
The model A, I've had for 43 years. (65-289, O/D top loader 4-speed, open drive banjo rear, 4" dropped axle, 40 Ford brakes, 32 shell, grill, and gas tank. At this time I don't have any pics of the Cessna or 56 T-Bird. The Bird has been around for a long time also, 47 years.
