Wait till Tedy reads this. That explains a lot of things! I'll bet it was 240V. Fannie get back in the corner.:banghead3:
Well there is over protective witch I do not agree on and just plain common sense or lack of, it's a "baby" not some young child who can run away if sh** happens... there is a BIG difference. Let a child figure out "oops", bad idea, won't do that again, not a baby that does not know anything period except for...'look at pretty sparks, I'm gona stare at them cause they are cool looking'
I didn't do it myself, but my older sister did when she was little. Knocked her clean across the room she says.....
Hey we were all kids once. Some us before they had all these safety precautions. Some of us way before...
Ok, so today was another gorgeous day, and I wanted to use it to knock out a separate project I had on my "to-do list" I know that some of you have been questioning my parenting abilities on here, and I just wanted to show you that this parenting thing isn't that hard. I made sure Asher was well away from the field of work, Elena and I both have our eye protection, and I'm wearing proper footwear. So, you guys have nothing to worry about, I'm keeping these kids nice and safe!
You are taking this quite well. Most of us have raised a family and know the dangers ahead. And whoever told you parenting is NOT hard never had any kids! I just hope that photo was a joke and you weren't really starting and using the chain saw. Even Fannie will disapprove of this. When using a large chainsaw there is no such thing as proper footwear. Just keep your feet away.
Tedy Tedy Tedy I just stepped out of my corner for just a sec to make a suggestion...do you think that perhaps this pic may...just maybe might have been a joke? Hey zzzizxz love the lumber jack pics. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima Glad to see your taking advice from some of the experienced parents around here, :2_thumbs_up_-_anima cool glass by the way. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima Asher's a cutie and I believe Elaine's gonna look sweet in coveralls. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima I gotta go...my corner in cooling off...
In reality little kids shouldn't be within 50' of a person using a chain saw. The lumberjack should wear full pants and long sleeves. The area nearby should be clear of all items including small branches. If my wife worked in an ER I wouldn't want her to have to do extra work. This reminds me of some of those work place safety magazine photos. What's wrong with this picture?
Dremels aren't likely to lacerate anyone's face. The problem I have with them is that they rotate in the wrong direction and you get all that dust into your lungs, as if the tool was made for left-handers
OK, OK, we'll lay off....... As long as we don't see a pic of you juggling the running chain saw, the kid.......and the hat.
