Just bought 3 Merc wagons and a 32' trailer full of nos and used parts for them all! Two 1960 mercury colony park wagons and a really mint 2 owner 1962 mercury comet villager wagon! The white 60 colony park is loaded with power windows AC just no roof rack and very minimal amounts of rust This black car were gonna do a pro touring car out of and hope to have the motor and suspension done by back to the 50s in minnesota in June! Roadster shop front suspension, 2012 mustang 3 link for rear and a kasse Efi boss 429 with a Holley dominator dual four Efi setup backed by a 4l80e transmission. Will remain a patina car for now till the drive train is done! We will be making some carbon parts for it as well to lighten it up some! As that is what my main business is! Stay tuned for a cool build on an extremely rare wagon!
Car was last driven in 2005! Also came with two complete mirror/spot light setups for both left and right and an unexplainable amount of spare parts and nos stuff in boxes!
Did you buy this stuff off a guy in L.A. (San Fernando Valley, specifically)? I seem to remember a CL ad.......... Marshall
Yes! Everyone thought they were a scam and sent the guy hate mail lol were not cheap but there was a lot Of stuff with the three cars!
I remember seeing the ad (I check LA Craig's List quite frequently). I thought we posted it up in our 'Auctions, E-Bay, Craig's List' section, but I can't seem to find it doing a search..... All that stuff must have been quite 'spensive to ship.... I got my Safari from Wisconsin. Marshall
Me myself and I; I like the look of that year Ford much better that the Mercury. But once this project is finally finished...... Well that'll be a horse of a different color, won't it? I can't wait to see it!
i drove a 32' trailer out there and then had to ship all three cars back. like i said alot of parts, i filled the trailer full of parts front to back. Yes expensive... There are none of these cars for sale anywhere right now. ive looked everywhere you can think of. Odd ball car forsure.
