    65 Catalina Cruise

    i had a 65 Pontiac Catalina that had factory cruise. There was a knob that went through the clear plastic of the speedometer face and there was an extra speedometer needle that moved when you turned the knob. To engage, you pulled out on the knob. If you set it for 65 and you were only doing 40, hold on to your seat. That 400 kicked in at full throttle until you got there. :chirp:

    Man that cruise unit looks brand new! About that car top carrier, someone posted an add here a couple of days ago and we were trying to figure out what year it was from. It looks the same as yours, what year is it do you know?

    I'm guessing, only a guess, it is from the late '60s into the 70's.
