    Hey guys, gals.
This is my intro. I'v always loved Long Roofs, but never had the chance to buy one. A buddy of mine bought a car he wanted from a guy who told him, if you buy this car ya gotta take this one too. So reluctantly he took both the cars, which just happened to be the 63' Belair i ended up with.
He didnt want the wagon, and when i saw it i got all stary
eyed and ended up trading him a 62' Fairlane 500 for it.
It needs work, that iv actually started doing on it.
The motor had been replaced with a tired 305, its about to get a 350 truck motor i did a freshen-up on. Im into customs, don't be surprised if it loses altitude in build photos, and it really already has in the rear. Well thats my intro, kinda long winded but thats just me.
    Thanks for having me.
    Mark

Welcome to the Nuthouse we call home. You're going to fit in quite nicely here! Have fun with the wagon, and be sure to start a build thread. Make sure you put LOTS of pictures in that, too, so we can follow along as you go.

Welcome. You have the right attitude. I am a firm believer in building them the way you like them.

    Reply to intro....

    Thanks for the warm welcomes.
MikeT1961...Will do. I may have to have some help with the photo thread, but i'll do my best to start one.

I'm glad to also see that i'm not the only one that likes um lowered here. I subscribe to "RMay's" think'in of "build them like you want", with the addition of, ...and it doesn't matter what make or model, were all brothers and sisters in the car hobby.

    Hey Dewey.....

First off, i love the look of your wagon!
Second, i don't want to be a copy-cat or anything, but i was gonna paint mine exactlly!, the same color. This has actually made me re-think my original plan to do a three-tone green. So thats what im going to do. Thanks for tipping the scale for me. Once again, beautiful ride.

Thanks Mark! It took me quite a while to pick this particular green, it's a mid 70's Porsche green, kind of dark and bright at the same time. I would love to see another longroof the same color. Thanks for compliment. Something about solid colors I love is they never seem to go out of style or get dated.
