hi all. my 2nd post here.
    HELP !

i found the site here while searching the net for parts for my wagon..

i had some bad luck with my wagon. someone decided to break out my rear back window. i was heart broken. my wagon is not the best looking right now ( 1/2 rust 1/2 dust ) but it runs very well.

i really wanna restore it. but i cannot find any wagon window rubbers.
but mainly need another glass.( NOTE>> i think i found a glass, i'll know by next week ).

does anyone have a source or know of where i can possibly find
the misc. parts that holds the glass in place.
( guides - plastic blocks that attach to the glass ) i have mine but they are
    worn, but not totally bad.

also any sources that would have the rear window rubbers / seals

i love my old wagon, someone help me save it.. ( restore it too )

well i think i have found me a glass. but in the meantime i was cleaning out the busted glass and the associated parts that attach to it.. i cleaned up most of the parts, they were in different stages of rust, but not too bad.
there is some parts that attach to the sides of the glass..some kind of glides and slides.
one has a damaged spring, and another has chipped plastic on it.

does anyone happen to have a diagram of this rear door/window ? and is there a source for rear window parts ? i am sure other wagons use them also..

Glad to see you found the glass you needed. It seems to me there is a few Fury owners around here, hope one or you of them chime in. (y)

the 77 fury is on the b body?
if so, wagon glass and rear door interchanges with 1971 to 1978 b body wago, plymouth or dodge

    thanks for the info..
i am still hoping to find a exploded view and or procedure on how to install the glass properly..
i am not sure yet either..i am sure my old glass had 5 holes in it.. this new glass only has 4 holes in it..the 5th hole had a knob looking thing in it..i think it may have been used to depress the lever that unlocks the inside door control...the window has to be all the way down. before you can use the inside door controls ( GATE/DOOR lever )

i am still searching for window hardware - the wrong window was ordered, so a replacement is on order right now. but i still cannot find any hardware.
i still need to find replacement sliders for the window track. i cannot find anyone that sells them.. i also cannot find any junk yard that might be willing to sell the whole door.
in hopes to get the parts i need..
or does anyone have enough experience to tell me what other hardware would work.
i am desperate here as you all can tell.
i need to learn how to post some fotos here so i can show what i exactly need.

guys i need help.. i found a glass but the hard ware i have is not in good order.
i have searched all that i can search and have had no luck to find any window hardware.
i am at the point that i am willing to buy the whole door if i could find one. but it is impossible for me to find any old junk yard outside of my area..can any of you guys help me search ?

the plymouth fury has a 9 hole window, this is what i have..there is 4 sliders on the sides of the glass i need. 2 are solid, and the other 2 are having spring sliders on them,
and the bottom brackets ( regulators? ) the plastic disk spacers are broke.
plus there is some rubber bumpers that protect the glass from slamming around when the door is closed.
i have tried to contact all of the recommended sites, no luck at all for hardware.
i have contacted all the auto glass companies i could think of.. Safelite glass will not even return my calls :(
i really need help, i know there is other cars that used the same door such as the Monaco, and the sport suburban, and a few others.. the grand fury glass wont work, it looks the same size glass and all, but it only has 4 holes, no side glass hardware.
any help is appreciated..i am at a dead end right now...

First, contact a junkyard that's willing to work with you a little. Some yard somewhere should have a Hollander's interchange manual and be able to tell you exactly which years, makes, and models have parts that will fit your car. They might even be able to help you search for these online.

Once you find out what cars have interchange parts, you can search on www.car-part.com, for one. There's always ebay, of course, and Hemmings Motor News, both the print and online versions. If no one's advertising your specific part(s) for sale in Hemmings, there should be ads for dealers in obsolete and used Chrysler Corp. car parts.

That generation of Fury used the same tailgate as the 72 and up Satellite, as well as the Dodge Coronet and Monaco. That gate lasted through the run, which I believe was 1978, but I could be mistaken. You may well find, too, that the window parts you need were used on the full sized MOPAR wagons as well, so the Polara, Monaco, Fury (All trim levels), and Chrysler Town and Country from 69 through 78. Hollander's will give you the definitive answer on that one. If so, you have a LOT more options, and an increased chance of finding what you need.
