Rev, HRP, I've had my 55 Chevy wagon since 1987 and keep saying I'm going to get an old RV and put a hitch on the wagon. We've camped many places with it using rental RV's and cabins. But my wagon remains unhitched.

I do have a hitch on my 1948 Chevy panel truck. But that's another unfinished story!:banghead3:
There should be a Tin Can Tourist campout soon nearby. Gotta check the schedule. They sometimes meet at Cedar Key or Archer,Fl. the old original campground area.

Well,I've heard it all my life ,"Good things come to those that wait"..so far that hasn't been the case.

When we have found the right one it's all away across the country and to buy a trailer that needs the work to suit the taste and add to that a couple of grand to haul it..I just can't commit to that.

The Boss lady still wants a mid to late 50's Shasta 1300 or 1400.

We have travels all over South Carolina,North Carolina,Tennessee and Georgia..there is a lot of overpriced junk out there. HRP

I had the fortune of working on a '54 sedan delivery hot rod (351C/FMX, frenched headlights, shaved door handles). Low stance, Torque Thrust D's with lo-pro tires. It wasn't painted yet and the interior needed resto, but it was looking good for a work-in-progress.

There was a guy (Mike) over on the '54 Ford Club of America from Portland ,Oregon that was building a '54 Courier but dropped off the map before it was finished.

I always thought the deliveries were cool. HRP
