Welcome to the Nuthouse we call home! I have a feeling you are already one of us. GREAT choice of wagon, and congratulations on saving such a rare old beastie! If memory serves, the bodies on those wagons were not G.M. or Fisher Body pressings. I believe they were made by Iona for G.M., so that can add a certain degree of interest to the way they were put together. Be sure to show us pics, before, during and after restoration. If you want to see the kind of thread we mean, check out Vetteman's thread on rebuilding a 72 Grand Safari. No detail is too small for this bunch. Plus, what you learn may help someone else save one of these great cars. This forum is an amazing repository of knowledge and lore.

Welcome! I got a line on a couple 64 Vista Cruisers over in Seattle. One is a fully loaded with 330, the other is not so loaded. I don't know what you need in parts, but if I remember correctly, the loaded car is in worse shape than the other and may be had for a parts car. When I say not in good shape, I mean it's rusty, but all the trim and glass is in good shape.

Right model Fannie, but wrong year. The one in your pic is a 62, and looks quite different from a 64.

Thanks for the warm welcome. It's great to hook up with a good forum. Thanks for the leads on parts and mine looks more like the 2nd pic of the old white one.Same body as the blue one but not even close to being that sweet. Some day. Thanks again and pics will come.

I think I've seen a couple of pics of it, is it gold with a white top, and very clean looking? At any rate, what a car! Welcome and congratulations!

Welcome Dyno. Can't wait to see pics of your find. It was really in a farm pasture? Sounds very close to a "barn find". Good for you.
