can anyone help me with some close up pictures of the interior headliner trim and exterior side window trim for a 4dr 66 belair wagon. Ive just started on the car and its missing, and i have no idea what it looks like?? could anyone tell me the interchange years for this car...are 65 66 67 wagons the same for the side windows trim and can i use interior pieces from any full size chevy 2dr/4dr or is it all wagon specific. trying to avoid spending $$$$ on stuff thats wrong thanks gna
'65 Interior headliner & exterior window should match ..... [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] [/IMG] these are pics i just had around - car is put away for winter keep in mind Bel Air and Biscayne cars had less "chrome accents" - Impalas had more going on,,,,,,,there wasn't any chrome around the windows on the doors (impala may have had that) - there was a chrome full length drip rail though email me if you wish (with pics of your car so i can take a look) and i'll send ya my phone # if you want to chat
There would be at least 3 grades of door trim panels - Biscayne/Belair; Impala; and Caprice. I believe that the '66 Caprice wagon (the one with the strange woodgrain trim) had Impala wagon interior trim - they didn't make a separate Caprice wagon trim. (My dad had one.) You are probably going to find more of the Impala stuff than anything else, since that was the biggest-selling model. For specific details, if you can't find photos, you may have to hunt down an owner of a restored vehicle.
there also some folks on a site called CHEVYTALK with some '66 Wagons - another good source for info and def worth a "join"
