Hello all, does anyone know if this model fits the 76 Olds 88/98/CC with no problem if you have the optional 8-track with the radio (the opening seems to be bigger than the radio)?
    It's the RS-7385: http://www.retrosoundusa.com/products/details/id/303
    Thanks and regards!

No I got the radio, also with 8 track but I want to replace it with a Retrosound. The width seems to be the same but not the height, I guess I will have to make a custom bracket to fill the gap (8 track is higher).

I've seen and heard several of the other modern radios made to fit into the original openings.
They look out of place and sound awful if you ask me. The primary criteria in designing these seems to be packaging rather than decent performance.
You might be happier with a refurbished factory radio and upgraded speakers, which are invisible. If you need inputs for other devices an FM converter can put in line with the aerial allowing use of an I-pod, satellite service or input from a tape or CD deck installed elsewhere.

I've been happy with my Retrosound head unit. I got a different one than you're looking at. Mine has the Aux input. If you look at consumer reviews, Retrosound seems to have the best reputation. If it's like mine, the kit will include a faceplate that sits behind your factory opening, to fill the gap. If I remember tonight, I can post a pic of how it looks.

hi your if your original one working fine dont replace it with stupid chines radio. because after that u have to replace the speaker. and when u did that to an old car. u must break some plastic part and cut the original wire. thats gonna hurt. trust me on this. i been throw this before three month. my original GM2700 dead the cassette not working and the fm radio two. i try to fix it but i couldnt find the right spare part. i remove it and cover it with plastic food wrap. and keep it when i come to america i will restore my caprice wagon.
i use now pioneer 1550ub its good quality. but i miss my old one. its ur choice be smart, good luck.
