Well, I guess it's about time I come back on, for crying out loud. So much has happened since Feb 2012, the worst of which was my being absent on the ol' wagon forum. Sorry, everybody, for being so slack, but know that I've missed you all in a big way. Just a quick update on what I've been doing. As most of you know, I got out of the car business in '08 and went into theatrical production which was a huge mistake. Over the past 4 1/2 years, I've gone through my entire retirement account, had to sell my house and apartment in New York City and am now living in a rented two bedroom apartment back in Cranford, NJ. I am glad to tell you that despite going broke, I was able to hold onto the Mercury and it's sitting in the garage under a car cover my brother gave me for Christmas last year. It's running great and I'm so psyched I still have it. Late last year, I finally decided I had to give up on theater and get back in the real world. After a two month search, I landed a job as a sales rep at Bell Ford in Colonia and then last August I got promoted to finance manager. I guess you could say I'm on the road to recovery so that's a good thing. I am putting in some pretty long hours, but I'll definitely find the time to come back on a lot more. Glad to see a lot of "old timers" still here!!
Oh, by the way, the house in the picture behind the Colony Park is the one I own with my brother on Long Beach Island. Sandy totally wiped out the first floor and it's been uninhabitable ever since. Now that I'm working again, we're fixing it back up and hope to be in by Summer '14.
Wow! Lots going on. Glad you didn't for get us and still are a wagon owner. In the long run, we don't need nearly as many material things as we think we do. Enjoy your new job and keep smilin.
Good to see you back. Sorry to hear about your troubles, but nowadays if your above ground and breathing your're doing good. Everything else is icing on the cake.
back snooterbuckets. You haven't seen blackfoot around have you? Yeah lets see some recent pics of that wagon cause...
Great to have you back, Snooter! You've been through a lot - hopefully you can get a breath or two while you're here. We've had a few changes here while you been away, the biggest one being the loss of Silverfox. My Safari was given the Silverfox seal of approval before I bought it - he checked it out for me in November of last year. Other wagons have come and gone, many new active members, but it's still the wagon forum you remember! Marshall
Hi Snooterbuckets! I remember reading some threads that you posted on back in the past. At that time I was just lurking around the forum checking things out. I joined up last fall after purchasing my 85 Colony Park. Glad to hear that you still have yours!
What's up with Silverfox? I've been looking for some postings from him and couldn't find any. Tell me he's just stopped coming on and that nothing happened to him, please.
