Afternoon to you all. Thought I would share sum pictures of my Caprice Wagon Dorothy looking so clean and sweet in the British Autumn sun Gave her a good polish before Autumn really sets in. She's so pretty isn't she?
Dorothy is a very sweet looking wagon indeed! There are few of them that look anything nearly that nice around here. Our winters eat them. Keep on enjoying the old girl.
Haha, this is very true, especially where I live where everybody has 4X4's Range Rover's, BMW's and Toyota Landcruisers and the likes. I feel quite privileged to have such a rare beauty, and one that has so far proved to be more than capable of keeping up with what we both need to survive the countryside! Although I wouldn't dream of tearing of across the muddy fields and ponds in her, I saw Richard Dreyfuss do this in a Ford LTD wagon in the movie "Close encounters of the third kind" with success but I wouldn't put Dorothy through that! Mind you when she needs to, - She's lifts up her petticoat and really can run!
Thanks MikeT I'm rather taken with your 'Bertha' - probably since I'm such a fan of "Uncle Buck" and I loved his land-going smoking train!
Very nice. My late paternal grandmother used to live near London and on a visit in '77 I remember seeing a 1975 Caprice Estate in the city and it looked absolutely enormous next to the European cars. I'm sure you get a bit of attention with Dorothy.
