She wants a new ford flex. I told him to explain that she would save $500 a month between payments and car insurance. She apparently didn't care.

Our daughter in Illinois has a Ford flex. We rode in it several times. Not impressed. Most younger kids follow the sheep! Right now the sheep are driving SUV's and mini vans.

The funny thing is, load the Flex to its capacity, and you are still leaving things behind. Get at flat that way, and you are leaving cargo on the side of the road, as the half-width, half-baked spare can't hold the weight, nor can the spare tire well hold the flat! Also, if you are loaded, forget anything much in the way of gas mileage. Might as well drive the 'lowered Suburban built by Ford', which is what the real wagon is! Almost the cargo room, too.

    That's were I grew up !

I'm not far from Arvada, but I'm not in the market for a new ride anyway.
There's one just like it at our local Pull and Pay
A actually removed the cargo rack from it last week
And it has a nice set of fold away seats I the rear.
But I'm not going to put those in mine , it will be storage !!
I also removed the luggage rack from a 86 ford the same day
For $20. If I can't use them , someone will.
