Welcome to the nuthouse! When you say manual, do you mean service or transmission? If the latter, get a wrecked 5 litre Mustang, and you will have all the donor parts to do the job, including the very nice 302 V-8, plus all the bits and pieces to make the whole thing work right. That will also give you the extra, horizontal, shock absorber that Ford used to take the live axle under the Mustang. It will make a big difference to the handling of the wagon without making the ride bone-jarringly rough, too.
No "Manual" as in Owners Manual . 1983 Ford LTD Owner Guide . There is only 89,073 Original Miles and it has the 3.8L V6 and I am going to keep it that way . The less I have to do the more I get to cruise .
It's scary wizzard, you look so much like my old high school buddy back in Illinois. He still drives his high school 1946 Ford convertible with 350 Chevy. Jim wears his hat everywhere but to bed. I'm guessing on that. I've really never gone to bed with him!
I literally have dozens of Hats . I am like a throw back to another era . And I have been known to fall asleep wearing a hat . Funny thing is I have been like that with hats since I was in Jr. High . You know when we had stone tablets and chisels .
My friend Jim wears white cowboy hats and western shirts inside or out. Always has. He lives in central Illinois and is from Missouri but thinks he's a cowboy! Anytime we go to visit he's watching old black and white westerns or an occasional old comedy like the Three Stooges. Jim is bald and says he gets cold without a hat, even in July! He actually sleeps with one of those cloth welders hats. We both went to school when those stone tablets first came out. We were from the wrong side of the tracks and couldn't afford one of those new fancy tablets. So we had to do our school work on the sides of the cave.
