just drove my 1964 ford galaxie wagon 800 miles from hamilton ON to carlisle PA and back for the Ford Nationals. absolutely no problems and the most comfortable ride ever! with my rattle rod, i won a celebrity choice award! i would recommend this show for any classic owner. there is a show for just about any american car and imports! (corvettes, GM, Mopar, Imports, Trucks, and motorcycles. carlisleevents.com. there is also a massive swap meet, so many parts you could build a car from ground up!! check it out [url='http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/gallery/files/8/7/0/7/[IMG]

I've made the trip from Michigan to Carlisle MANY times.
You never know what you're going to see/find on the field; always a fun time!

Congrats on the award and the successful adventure!!!

I saw your 64 Country Sedan wagon driving around the field, towards the vendor area on Saturday, but never got close enough to get a picture.

That was probably when we were heading out to take part in the parade.
My son took his car as well, he has a '95 Taurus SHO that is his pride and joy.
Sorry that I couldn't connect with anyone from this forum.

Would love to drive my Impala across country but I would be filling up every 120 miles :(
