When I was living in the city in 92-93 there was a guy that had 3 limos all '57 Chevy's . A red & white , a blue & White , and if I remember correctly the 3rd one was solid white .
Btw , that is a fine automobile you have there .

I think you have found the PERFECT answer for a debate that has been ongoing around here! The wrapping allows an original, unrestored car to remain original and unrestored, but LOOK clean and fresh. That way, you have the best of both worlds. Judging by the looks of how it goes on, that wrapping could also be printed to look like wood grain and installed instead of trying to find Dy-Noc. That may be the way to go for those woodies that need the wood made look like new again. If the material you use is what I suspect it is, it can be printed with all different patterns. Is that correct? One thing, that wagon of yours is spectacular!

    GREAT looking wagon!

That explains the eyebrow ahead of the left taillamp....I wondered why it got missed during the prep...'cause there wasn't any!

Amazing how many of these old wagons are turning up from their slumber....keep hoping there will be one close to me soon.

Yep, the shops that have the ability to print can import a design/color, by taking a picture and importing it into the software to be printed, So if you have an original woodgrain pattern, take a photo and print it out on the vinyl. And Thanks guys for the complements on the car. Really love driving this car around.

Great pictures of a nice looking wagon. This really is a good way to preserve an original, at least until a person decides how and what he wants to do with it. Personally I love the new look. I'll bet it takes a lot of skill to install the wrap.
I also wonder how these wraps hold up in the sun and weather changes. I see trucks with full wraps with advertisements on them but have no idea how long they've been covered. This is the trouble with original wood grained wagons.

Would love to see some details on the wrap (where to get, how much, how difficult, process etc.). Might be an ideal way to deal with bad woodgrain until proper fix could be done if it is cheap enough and doable by a shade tree mechanic.

That's amazing! I'd like more information on the wrap, too.

Would it leave any residue when removing?

    Very cool, thanks for posting!
