I'm having a problem starting my car now that I have a. Key ?
I am able to jump it at the round relay on the fender.
But when I try it with the key I get a clicking in a small
Rectangle relay ? Mounted on the firewall next to the master cylinder
I'm not sure what this is ?
I thought the relay was the round cylindrical thing that I was
    Jumping to start it ?
    Any ideas?

lets see a good pic of the square relay. sounds like someone added a starter kill relay(the square one) to the car.

does the car have an alarm? if so, tell me about it.

when you jumped the relay, did you do it from the battery feed to the little post on the solenoid? if you did, then try the following.

some tests to try with the battery connected.
1.with the key off, use a volt meter to see if any of the terminals 12 around 12 volts.
    2. with the kay on, test all wires again and note your finding.
3.with the key held in the crank position note results again.

    now with the battery disconnected....
use the ohm setting and test from the small post of the actual starter solenoid to each of the posts and note your findings.

all of these tests will only total about 10 minutes. use pen and paper to keep track of the info.

another thing i am a little concerned about is the wire on the right of your pic seems to be pretty close to the hood hinge. maybe its the pic looking that way, but make sure the hinge cant pinch or rub the wire.

    keep us posted.

if the cars been sitting for a good while ...and in the weather...cahnces are the ignition switch itself is corroded inside....you'll probably find that headlights will go out once the switch gets warm too !
