Thought it would be good to introduce myself. My name is John and I'm from Northumberland Pa. I just picked up a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere Wagon. I've always wanted a wagon and this is my first. I'm pretty a car guy with car ADD. I've owed over 70 car and trucks I'm not brand loyal I buy to build it and drive it. The Belvedere is currently living with my other mopar project a 1970 drag car.

Welcome aboard. I think the previous owner of your wagon was a member here as well.

    Is this yours?

Yep that's mine. I got it from Ed a week or so ago. Took it out for a couple hour ride Friday night. It runs well. I got somsthings to fix and find like the tailgate. I just put subframe connector on it last night. Floors are patch but not great so hope they keep the car together.

Good luck with your search for a tailgate. Its not easy to find a decent tailgate. Keep in mind that the 66-67 Dodge Coronet tailgate is the same as the 66-67 Belvedere tailgate except on the Dodge, there are large holes in the flat section of the tailgate where the Dodge's tail lights extend into the tailgate. Don't pass up a decent Coronet tailgate if thats where your search goes. It would be easy to weld in flat sheet metal to fill those holes. I believe the rear bumper is the same on all 66-67 Coronet and Belvedere wagons.
By the way, in my search for a tailgate, I recall Stephen's Performance (a Mopar vendor) as having a used Belvedere tailgate on hand. If you contact them now, and if they still have one, maybe they can bring it with them to the Chrysler show at Carlisle next month. If so, that might save you up to $300 in shipping cost.

Welcome aboard! Congrats on the new wagon - that would be a killer tow vehicle for your drag car!

Well its been some time but making progress. I got the trunk floor patched. New gas tank and sending unit in. Found a rear bumper, bumper brackets and best of all a tailgate. Those parts should be here next week. Been drivi it around and working out the bugs. Planning a road trip with it in October to Ocean City MD for the endless summer cruise. Should be fun six hour ride in a car that probably haven't been on a road trip in years.
