We were talking about this at work.....wondering about the autopsies . someone said" they would be faster if someone put the squeeze on them"
I thought that was odd too. In my mind there seems to be more to this than somebody's pet snake got loose.
It's been over a week now. Hmmmm... A couple days ago, an alligator snapper or similar (Macrochelys temminckii) bit an 8-year old boy, after a previous owner either turned it loose or it escaped. The video: http://www.sueddeutsche.de/bayern/a...schildkroete-macht-badesee-unsicher-1.1744626 The owner faces a 25.000€. Authorities have pumped out the lake to get it. But, it hasn't been found, despite. They think it could be hiding in the mud. Their import has been outlawed since 1999: http://www.schwarzwaelder-bote.de/i...rrt.c9fe290f-2494-4831-8678-4801c22b69a3.html
Hanswurst they need to hire Turtleman or one of those other Teleyision swamp hunters to find that critter. We watched way to much tele while gone on yacation!
Little do they know those animals are flighty. It's likely somewhere in the next pond. As soon as they figure it isn't hiding in the dry crusted mud, they might go on draining ponds one after the other
