Hudson wagon at the 2007 HET Nationals meet in Auburn, IN. There was never one built! This is a build that was inspired from a book on Hudsons. Submitted by: patrick80
We DO know who built it (well, at least we know who PAID to have it built) Here's the story, from Hemmings: http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/...dson-woodie-station-wagon-to-cross-the-block/
oh baby baby Looks good enough to me... Ready for a cruise down Route 66... Well, it might need one of those "in the window swamp coolers, to complete the picture...
Someone get their hands on a Hudson Italia, for the next wagon project http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1954-1955-hudson-italia.htm http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1954-1955-hudson-italia1.htm http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1954-hudson-italia3.htm
Don't have a URL, but here's a link to a page that shows the rear of the wagon. For a '48, this is a real good-looking wagon (even though there's only one of them). http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/...dson-woodie-station-wagon-to-cross-the-block/
That design sure lends itself to the wagon style! Better than most of the factory wagons of the era for sure. That is simply stunning.
