    Hello to my fellow Wagoneers.

Sad as i am, but none-the-less thrilled to bits with my Wagons new roofrack, my old one didn't have the deflector which i wanted (as i think they look nicer) and luckily i spotted an advert for yet another 1986 Chevrolet Caprice being broken for spares.

I raided this poor car like a vulture picks at fresh meat! but i came away with loads of hard to find parts, and i am very pleased with myself and the results and amazingly this car was only 30 miles away from my hometown here in the UK. Incredibly lucky.

Here she is loaded with props, 70's suitcases, surfboard and minature Chopper Bicycle.

    Hope your all well.

    Best wishes.

    Kurt.

Nice luggage carrier.:) That chopper bike would be called a stingray or a banana bike in this neck of the woods. It really needs a tall sissy bar on the back but that would cut down on bridge clearance with it up there on the rack.:D

I'm sure you're the envy of all your neighbours, you certainly have mine! Congrats for getting your entire rack and the other improvements/necessities! Beautiful color on that car too.

That (and the same body Olds Custom Cruiser) are my all time favorite Wagons. Your car is gorgeous! I am deeply envious! I love my 92, but the late square-bodies are my all time favorite.

Now you just need to see if you could get it on TopGear and let the Stig take it around the track. Just get May and Hammond to duct tape Clarkson's mouth shut and cram him in the trunk of the Aston he is undoubtedly drooling over. Hammond and May would appreciate the old girl. Clarkson won't. I love him, he makes me laugh, but he'd run on at the mouth too much in negative connotations.

I'll mention briefly that a bubble wagon was in my consideration, as well as the last Colony Parks and Country Squires. I think the new end of year Parisienne Safari I found around 1987 did a number on me too. Boxes are my favorites, there's an '80s Impala wagon as well as an '80s Custom Cruiser around here. If Top Gear did get hold of that Caprice Estate, it would ruin them for just about anything else.
