I am a partner in a t-shirt business. We attend and sell our hot rod t-shirts at 13 to 20 car shows a year and with our vintage wagons... are well received in our area by local promoters. The two wagons, 1964 Chevrolet Belair and 1958 Ford Ranch Wagon are perfect for hauling the bins, display, banners, tables and racks used to display our wears.
Check out the link in the signature block and feel free to view our wears.

I'd be more explanatory... but we just got back from a show Friday night and I am dead dog tired.
    Ciao

I have been thinking about an answer to this thread for a couple days now, and I have to give Dead credit for asking a good question. First off I grew up around classic cars and Dad was a Caddilac man. Always had an appreciation for the cars of the 60's and 70's first vehicle I owned was a 72 Ford F150. Long story short I wasn't looking for my wagon when I found it, I was just looking for a second car to drive while I was working on my minitruck, but when I backed her out of a garage in central Salt Lake city something changed in me. Drove home from Salt Lake in her and fell in love with the big floaty ride (even with a bent leaf spring and biast ply tires on it) and having only 47K original miles from the first owner I knew I had found something. After only owning the car for a couple weeks I could invision the finished product you see now. I knew it would be cool, unique and badass. I bought this car in 1996 from my bosses mother in law sight unseen for $50.00 to save it from the crusher when she could no longer drive, best $50.00 I ever, or will ever spend.

back in Germany where I grew up, dad had a Peugeot 404 Wagon for family and a Ford Transit for the business; as it happened both crapped out at the same time;the Opel GM dealer in town had a 1970 Chevy Townsman Wagon as a demo for sale;dad loved it and so we grew up in tight German streets driving a wagon;I leant to drive in it and tight spaces were never problem anymore;now I own them for the memories and the feel from yesteryear!

Well for me I don't have a wagon but I am actively seeking out a mid to late 50s wagon. I do have a 52 Chevy Fleetline lead sled that's my current ride. The reason for a wagon is that I live in a remote community and to go to any hot rod shows I have to travel to Edmonton, about 250 miles away but we do have a camper on a lake lot nearby but when I take the Chevy down the wife has to bring her SUV with the rug rat and 3 dogs which doesn't make me real popular, haha. So a wagon is the perfect solution.

Why do I own a Wagon?

    1) Because I needed a big car as a backup for the Suburban... it's the only car besides the 'Burb that can take 4 child car seats.
    2) Because it is not a minivan.
    3) Because it is a big full size car (which I love) with even more room so I can use it for light hauling duties and transporting the entire family if needed.
    4) Because it is not a minivan.
    5) Because you can't buy a new car today that is half as great as these cars are.
    6) Because it is not a minivan.
    7) Because it is supremely comfortable, easy to fix, and reliable.
    8) Because it is not a minivan.
    9) Because it is a nice looking, nice riding car.
10 ) Because it is not a minivan.

    That should cover it.

Rev: NOBODY would ever call you a lemming. Iconoclastic, yes, but lemming, never!
