Well, Project LargeBarge got new shoes today and some shocks along with an alignment. Wow, what a difference...

For those that dont remember... it had dry-rotted 235/75/15's (LT's) on it... and I wanted to go low profile. So, I bought me a set of 235/60/15's - Radial T/A's from BFG.

I am LOVING the look... the new shocks dropped the stance since the old ones in the back were HD's with a spring around the shock. The lower profile tires drops it more. I think it looks NASCAR-like with the white letters. PLUS... with the lower center of gravity..it doesnt wallow as much in the turns.

I have ordered a set of 9 inch baby-moons for the centers to cover the lugs and I think its really going to look sic when those are on too.

The bad news is that I also need brakes, swaybar bushings, wheel bearings, steering box and a transmission mount. BUT.. thats next month! It rides and tracks great now...but with all the new stuff to come...it'll float silently like the barge it is...

Ya know you took the words right out of my mouth. The "Nascar-ish" wheel and tire combo. Looks great! (y)
