I thought it might be fun to post some of my old family slides (with station wagons of course). Here is a picture of my mom, brother, sister and grandpa and our Rambler Wagon-1966 I think. I wonder if those curtains were standard equipment?

Cool pictures. Yes, its a '66. The 65 had slightly different trim. Most noticable difference between the 65 and 66 Rambler Classic wagon was that the 65 had hprizontal taillights that wrapped around the corner of the quarter panels. The 66 had tall skinny vertical tail lights.

Thanks for sharing your family photos. Thats a 67 Ambassador playing in the snow, and a couple of 60 Rambler Classic wagons in the parade along with the 63 Chevy wagon.

Pretty cool huh? Actually, my dad was a Preacher and there was a car dealer in the congregation. He would give my dad a new "demo" to drive every 6 months or so. We lived there from '65 to '75. I wish I had pictures of all of them. I was born in 1965 so I don't remember the early ones. I do remember a purple Hornet X Sportabout that we had for about 2 weeks-it was too small. I have fond memories of going to the dealership as a kid. Art Post American Motors in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We bought a 1976 Matador when we moved and had it until 1987.
