Glad to see there are so many wagon fans around. I have been searching for a '73 Buick wagon (green w/tan inside) clamshell with third row (rearward) seats that is in great shape that I can haul my kids to sport and around town in the same style I enjoyed. If anyone has any leads please feel free to pass them on. I have been looking a while and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to the SWF...... We'd be happy to help you in your search for the right wagon (check our 'Auctions, Craig's List, etc... sub-section..), but it won't be a Buick clam shell wagon with rear-facing third seat. All those GM clam shell wagons had forward-facing third seats. The space where your feet would be sitting in a rear-facing seat was taken up by the retracting gate mechanism. Sorry....... Marshall
Welcome and good luck with your search. I have seen a bright green metallic ( I think it was a 73 only GM color)73 Buick Estate clamshell woody wagon on a few occasions around here. I think the owner may work somewhere on the grounds of Dulles International Airport in the Virginia suburbs of Washington DC. I last saw it about six months ago parked in an employee lot of one of the office buildings there. But then, I recall seeing some rust in the rear quarters and I have no idea what the interior color was.
