Hello all, first time poster here. Came across this site while snooping around for ideas for my 1971 Ford LTD Country Squire (400 cid, C6 trans, 9" rear - somebody pinch me!). Picked her up for $700 flat, with the odo reading 89,xxx (can't tell if she's turned over though... oh well). She's not quite road ready (no customizations yet - but, boy does she purrrrr... ), but will be by the end of the month. I've got quite a few ideas for her and can't wait to ping them off some of you. Anyhow, looking forward to geekin' out with you all. -Dan p.s. - Named her "Carleen" after my aunt. They look identical from the back.
Another guy with great taste in wagons! Us Ford folks were gettin' cornered with all the Buicks and Mopars. Welcome aboard!
Hey man! I'm Ford all the way (I'll just forget to mention that I drove a Dodge Ram Cummins diesel for a while...)! Also working on a 1961 Falcon Ranchero (the "Ratcheapo"), and still pooring money into my Pop's F250 Powerstroke.
