I see a 64 Chevy wagon with 300 miles on the list and a 65 Chevy wagon with 5 miles as well. Those look to be the best possibilities of survivor wagons.
The cars I think would bring the highest auction prices if they were all stored indoors are the "new" 63 and 64 Impala 2 door hardtops and the two "new" 65 Impala 2 door hardtops with the 396 under the hoods. The large number of early to mid 60's Chevy pickups with almost no miles on them, will keep the winning bids lower on those than they would be if there were only one or two of those.

    I would just die to get that 5 mile '65 Chevy wagon. Or any of the 4-door or wagon '65 or '66 cars. There's also 70, 71, and 76 Vega wagons, a 71/72 Caprice wagon with 46K miles, 74 and 77 Impala wagons, a '67 Impala wagon with 90K miles, 58 Ford Ranch Wagon with 23K miles, a 78-79 Pontiac wagon (could be an Astre/Sunbird, a LeMans, or a B-body), a '57 Chevy 210 wagon with 49K miles, a '78 Malibu wagon, a '60 Chevy Brookwood with 76K, a '68 Biscayne wagon with a 307 and a 3-speed, a '67 Caprice wagon with a 327, a '62 Bel Air wagon with 67K, a 1970 Toyota wagon, a '64 Bel Air wagon with the 283 V8, powerglide, and 326 miles, 1950 and 1954 Suburbans, and a '56 Chevy 210 wagon with the V8 and 92K miles.

I bet most of the six cylinder/manual shift vehicles will run and drive with little work.

This went world wide. Maybe even universe wide. Most of my friends and enemies are sending emails about those cars. The more I read and see the more depressing and hard to figure out it gets.
Son just called to tell me the rear end pinion seal is leaking on my 55 Chevy, 80's Malibu. It's been sitting much of the past two years. Just imagine all the seals, gaskets, and other parts on those cars, especially those left outside.

Imagine what the undersides of all those cars look like from sitting all those years on the dirt. :banghead3:

I would LOVE to have a 71 Torino fastback, 429SCJ with the stripes on the side of course! They were built at Ford Assembly Hapeville you know. :bouncy:

    Just horrible I imagine:cry:

But as mentioned...... Where did this $ come from to be able to keep these new and low mile trade ins and not sell all these cars for all these years???? Did Moonshine pay that good? IMO there had to be some thing very ????? going on even if he was just one guy with no over head, selling to friends. It just does not ad up.

Can you imagine the amount of publicity he'd get if he had some high dollar muscle, like big block Impalas, Chevelles and Camaros? Heck, any Camaros. I don't remember seeing a single one listed. Most of what he's got are 4 door sedans and trucks, nothing too extravagant or hard to find. I hope all of the low mileage (100 miles and under) stuff was kept indoors, like all of those '64 Chevy trucks. It's already bad enough, but would be a real shame if a automobile with less than 100 miles on it was left outside to rot.

Living in In Nebraska and having a small town (>900 people) Ford dealership close to 3 larger population centers (>30 miles) with populations of 25,000, 31,000 and 49,000 all with large dealerships. The mom and pops sells a lot of vehicles because of the way they sell them. When the GT40 was introduced this dealership through sales was selected to sell one of these low production cars. This dealership has no "new showroom" but sells a lot of cars and trucks. Oh ya they have a small collection of antiques also.

True Muskrat. Where we lived near Peoria, Ill. lots of people who knew about a few very small dealerships in tiny farming towns would buy their cars and trucks. Don't know why I never did. I suppose because AUTO ROW sucked us in!
