i agree it is a beautiful car but it is no where near a lowrider. Wrong wheels, wrong tires, wrong stance. It is a nice 59 wagon with 18's or more that fill out the wheel wells. This is more of a restomod look lowrider would have 14" or 15" narrow wheels with 5" or so wide tires and scrapping the ground.
Here's some more pics of the 59. It's definitely a resto-mod and not a lowrider! Thank's again everyone.
OK, I didn't know that you needed specific wheels to be a low rider. Allow me to amend... not a fan of lowering... still a beautiful car. mike
Welcome aboard! I dig your '59 wagon. I also like the travel decals in the quarter windows. Very retro looking . Was it originally a 348 powered car? I noticed the emblem with the flags on the hood, which usually indicate the 348 engine.
aren't the specific wheels the reason for you calling it a lowrider? otherwise what would make you classify it as such?_
i just emailed the pics to Stovebolt to try and incite him he's got 4 !! but only drives one Donaz....nice 59 pal
SWEET! Wish my wagon looked that nice. But then I might be afraid to drive it every day... Welcome to the forum!
Nice wagon! Love the color! Here is a picture of mine! I won't get into the "lowrider" discussion as I have some strong feelings on the difference between lowriders, and lowered cars/trucks. Having said that, a person can throw 26" rims at their car, and to us it may look ugly as hell, but as long as you have pride in your ride, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks! Again, beautiful car man!!
